Madison Wood is a martial arts instructor and dedicated competitive team
coach who works with all ranks at J. Pat Burleson Martial Arts to enrich the
physical and mental attributions of each student.

 

Madison Wood also referred to as Miss Madie began her training under
Grandmaster Burleson at the age of six. Since then, Miss Madie has attained
the rank of Yodan, as well as, over a decade of teaching and tournament titles.
 

Over the years, Miss Madie has sought to champion individualism and
leadership within her classes, while still promoting group learning. By
implementing this philosophy, students learn not only to work hard for
themselves but also those around them.
 

Outside of martial arts, Miss Madie pursues endeavors in business psychology
and academia.
